AnthroVille Studios is an up-and-coming art studio, makerspace, and community gathering space cooperative set to open our doors in the CamberVille, Boston area in 2026.

Our mission: To provide a collaborative space where the artists and creators of the furry fandom can thrive, organize, and share our creative spirit with the Commonwealth.

FAQ

What is AnthroVille Studios, exactly?

An art studio / makerspace by furries and for the community! Our doors will be open to all who seek a safe space to explore their passions in a community of like-minded individuals. We aspire to provide the neighborhood with classes, event space, mentorship and learning opportunities for artists of all skill levels, all with access to high quality equipment and a clean, well-lit space.

Wait... why furries?

Furries make up a bustling community of people with strong ties that span decades. If you're a part of the furry fandom (though we prefer to call it the furry community), then you know: there is no support quite like that of furries. We fund each others' surgeries. We house each other. There are countless creatives that make their entire livelihood soley within the furry economy. We have a furry economy!

I love this! When is it coming?

Great question. One of our fundamental Resident artists currently has their own workspace on a lease cycle that ends in January: That is way too soon to stand up a whole studio to the level of finesse that we'd like to have. Our goals follow the following timeline:

November 2024

We begin the hard work of forming the studio!

January 2025

Triangle Manor due to provide Y/N to current landlord. We feel this is too soon to get off the ground.

January 2026

Funding goal deadline.

April 2026

Moving!

May 2026

Studio Opens

So, we have a fundraising goal of January 2026, with hopes to open our doors in May 2026. We know that's kind of a long way away, but we're thinking long-term, big picture community building. These things take time, and we want to do it right.

How can I help?

The best way you can get involved is to join our mailing list below, and fill out our interest survey. The survey isn't too long, and will really help us with planning, so we really appreciate it! Within the survey is a section to flag if you want to help with organizing this vision. We have monthly public meetings, and ad-hoc working group meetings. We're bustling!
